Attention 4th thru 7th grade football players - Football Camp and Practice

Football practice for the fall of 2010 will begin with football camp on Wednesday, August 4th. The camp will be held on the St. Albert football field. Check in time will be 5:30pm and camp will go from 6pm to 8pm. Fill out the attached form and bring a check payable to SA to the 5:30 check in. See form for additional info

Practice schedule for fall is as follows. All practices are at old Kirn field. Camp is no pads, while the next two practices are helmet only.

Thursday, August 5th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday, August 7th , 9:00am to 11:00am
Beginning Monday August 9th, practices will be Monday thru Thursday 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 11am until the first game, which will be Sunday, August 29th.
After that, practices will be Tuesday and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 11am. The league is allowing schools to practice 3 times a week since games are on Sunday.

Attention parents of 4th through 7th grade football players for fall 2010! A variety of organizations will be sending out flyers for football leagues for fall 2010. Please be aware that Saint Albert will be sponsoring teams only in the Western Iowa Youth Sports (WIYS) league. If you want your son on a Saint Albert team, please disregard all flyers except WIYS. The WIYS flyers will be coming out the week of May 3, or you may register online at

Please note that anyone who registers online will still need to attend the league registration at the end of July but, having the form filled out early will speed up the registration process.

Here are some dates to add to your calendar:

  • Signups will be the last week of July at the Panther building.

  • Saint Albert's first practice will be our football camp on Aug. 4.

  • Games will start on Aug. 29. They will be played on Sunday afternoons at brand new fields at the Harveys Sports Complex.

  • Bowl games will be Oct. 23 and 24.
